I went to the Chick-fil-A a couple of days ago in the mall (no, not the day everyone was going to show support, it was before that) and there were a couple of people there, protesting, talking to people in line. They asked me why don't I support their cause? I said "I do, but not eating at Chick-fil-A isn't going to change the way that dude (the Owner) feels. And unless you can get the majority of the people to stop eating here, it isn't going to shut down the restaurant (It was lunch hour and there were at least 14 people in line, so business was not hurting), and besides, their Chicken is great!" The idiot mumbled something under his breath that sounded like "Fuck off" and walked away. Give it a rest dude!
And there is something called "Freedom of Speech" in this country. You may not agree with what someone says, but they can say it. Be thankful we aren't living in some dictatorship, communist era Soviet Union, China under Mao or one of those Central American Countries who in the 80's would make anyone who spoke out disappear.
And also, what about all the innocent workers at Chick-Fil-A? Many are telling the people who work there to quit. With this economy, where are they going to find another job? Are you guys telling the employees to quit going to give them a job? Many people are lucky to have a job, so trying to close down a bunch of Chick-Fil-A's is not going to help the economy. It is actually going to make it worse.
Besides, the T's of LBGT have already endorsed Chick-Fil-A, so what's the point?
