Our Favorite Songs - Vanity "Pretty Mess"

Vanity (Denise Matthews) was one of Prince's finds in the mid 80's.  She was a hottie who he used to front the group Vanity 6.  She got her start being a Nude Model and one of the many women who proudly stripped down for B-Movies.  Vanity 6 was a group of three hotties who always performed in lingerie. Prince called Vanity 6 his "Hooker" project.   Basically, they were Prince's sex toys!

After they broke up, Vanity went solo.  Her biggest (only) hit was "Pretty Mess" In 1994, she gave up all the entertainment stuff and became a Born Again Christian.  She is now a preacher who travels the country speaking at Evangelical Churches.

As part of my evergoing reposting of education posts from my old blog, I thought I would post this one.  Why?  Because now I am a college Professor and I am just got an essay handed-in to me that had two paragraphs copied from Wikipedia!  UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

Been seeing alot of ads on TV for "Chia Obama."  WTF!!!  Who the heck actually wants to buy a Chia Obama?  And why are there two Chia Obamas?  A Happy and a Determined Chia Obama.  Why don't they have a "Confused Chia Obama"  or a "self-righteous Chia Obama"?  Perhaps they should have the "Pimp Daddy Chia Obama" or the "Rock Star Chia Obama"  Unbelievable. 

And his people say he doesn't want to be some kind of cultural icon or have a rock-star personality.  Yeah, right!!!! 

Kim Kardashian in Mexico

I am not the biggest Kim Kardashian fan, but I will admit that at times, I think she is super Hot!  Kind of weird, but she does not always look hot, just in certain photos, Like these from Mexico!  But, after seeing recent pics of a plumper Kim Kardashian, I have to wonder if these pictures were not photoshopped to make her look skinny.  These pictures were taken only a few weeks ago.

Crazy Offer

Talked to a friend of mine from Texas today.  He is a crazy SOB.  He told me that he has made a standing offer to pay for any kid's college if he/she is named SuperIncredibleAwesomeStud (legally) at birth. The child must retain the name until after he/she graduates from college, at which time he/she can change it to something less...crazy if they so choose. This is not a bad deal.  If I ever have another baby, I may take him up on this. A little school-yard taunting is worth the $200K that a college education is going to cost by the year 2030.
