What are the 5 things every man should never be without? Other than beer, of course. Read on to discover the most useful, interesting items you can have.
You'll note that on this list isn't a single expensive or extravagant item. If you consider yourself a man who can't be detached from his iPad for ten minutes without starting to have a nervous breakdown, seek help. These are simple, cheap items that all men need in their arsenal. If you're missing one, replace it immediately.
Duct Tape
The beauty of duct tape (duct, for the love of god it's duct, not “duck”) is that it allows us to repair things without actually knowing how they should be repaired. Look at how proud the man in the photograph is; he has no idea how to repair a microwave, but by golly he did it.
Swiss Army Knife
You remember Swiss Army Knives, don't you? It's one of those things you always wanted as a kid but never got, unless your dad was amazing. Some of us probably got those little “imitation” ones that had about a third of the utilities on it – but no, it's time to get the real thing. The nice part about being an adult is that you can just go out and get something if you want it. For example, did you know that you can just buy birthday cakes, even if it isn't actually your birthday?
A Money Clip Instead of a Wallet
Let's face it. Money clips are classier than wallets. If money clips are Don Draper from Mad Men, then that must mean wallets are Ray from Everybody Loves Raymond. Imagine the look on that pretty girl who runs the cash register down at the gas station that you've been eyeballing for weeks. No, no more wallet for me, look at this fancy-ass money clip. She'll be begging to go out on a date with you.
Note: The only exception is if your wallet is made out of duct tape.

You never know when you'll need it.
